Asian Studies Group returns in 2017 with Switch on your Creativity, as its fourth edition, with the theme “Creativity is a Discovery”.
In collaboration with “Expo in Città” and the Municipality of Milan, the Switch on your Creativity is not just a contest but a concrete accelerator and incubator of cr
eativity and innovation of intercultural projects in order to approach Western to Eastern culture.
As with previous editions, the core contents of the event are developed around the four principles of the “Charter for Youth Creativity Values” specially drafted in 2015, during EXPO.
By following these principles, Asian Studies Group is going to develop, implement, promote and ultimately judge the best content, rewarding the internationality and creativity.
From the previous event, the contest consists of six different categories: Innovation, Art & Music, Short Movies, Fashion & Design, Contemporary Art, Show and Dance.
The award ceremony of the third edition, took place during the gala dinner celebrated at the Novotel Milano Ca’ Nord.
The fourth edition of the Switch on Your Creativity – Creativity is a Discovery, sees the collaboration between Asian Studies Group and the Italian Cultural Institute in Osaka (JP), with the specific aim of organizing a “double” vernissage Milan-Osaka, on May 20, 2017. In Osaka the exhibition will be hosted in the Italian Institute of Culture – Spazio Arte – at Festival Hall building.
We sincerely thank the Italian Institute of Culture, which in fact represents the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for the granting of the spaces in the consular building in Osaka, in addition to the full logistical and financial support of the operation of the on-site works.
Year after year Switch on Your Creativity raises the level of its objectives and of its partnerships, allowing the creativity to express themselves to the fullest, free of structural, organizational and promotional.
This double vernissage is a great opportunity in a dual perspective. Particularly it favors a concrete link between the two cities Milan and Osaka, in widely separated spatially, but thanks to the art can penetrate. This provides an additional contact element, stronger and more durable than money.
Central element of the Switch on your Creativity is the creativity of young people and through this event the lens is centered which is to provide emerging young artists and aspiring, the opportunity to be known and appreciated by an international and diverse audience level racial and cultural life, interesting, impressive and potential prospects both economic and employment.

For the new edition the Charter of Values for Youth Creativity created on 2015 during Milan EXPO still represents the core-contents of the initiative. For 2017 these values will be officially introduced during two important partnered events abroad: the Italian Film and Arts Festival of Seoul and during first edition of Milan Osaka Youth Creativity Day promoted by our organization Asian Studies Group in collaboration with Italian Institute of Culture in Osaka. At the same time these international events will be preferential occasion to present and promote some creative contents approved and presented in Italy during the 4th edition on 2017.
For 2017 our organization Asian Studies Group decided to inaugurate a new platform called Force for Creativity, Art and Innovation. The fund consist of amount collected basically by annual membership subscriptions or sales of services made by our organization. First of all the fund support the organization of conclusive Gala Night when some projects receive special mention for particular costitutive factors and “The international dialogue between cultures, Europe and Asia on dialogue” Award is assigned. Beyond that the fund is also a collector for sponsors or institutions that want to support our mission.
